Privacy policy

This is a short version of our policy – live terms are provided as part of our client, supplier and employee contracts. These include specific and tailored clauses that reflect the needs and wishes of our customers and partners. If a more detailed questionnaire is required, please ask your CommsQuest contact.

The type of personal information we collect

We actively limit the amount of personal information we collect and store. However, we do currently collect and process the following Personal identifiers and contacts (for example, name and contact details).

How we get the personal information and why we have it

The majority of the personal information we process is provided to us directly by you to enable us to process and respond to enquiries or purchases that you have made either via this website or through other means.

We use the information that you have given us in order to process your orders, and respond to your enquiries.

Under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR), the lawful base we rely on for processing this information is that we have a legitimate interest.

How we store your personal information

All information is securely stored, on secure servers, which have multi-layer encryption and strict access requirements.

  • Data is not stored or transferred to servers outside the United Kingdom.
  • Data is not accessed by employees based outside of the EU/EEA region.
  • Data is not outsourced to any other companies (e.g. for maintenance or troubleshooting services)

Your data protection rights

  • Your right to rectification – You have the right to ask us to rectify personal information you think is inaccurate. You also have the right to ask us to complete information you think is incomplete.

  • Your right to restriction of processing – You have the right to ask us to restrict the processing of your personal information in certain circumstances.
  • Your right to object to processing – You have the the right to object to the processing of your personal information in certain circumstances.
  • Your right to data portability – You have the right to ask that we transfer the personal information you gave us to another organisation, or to you, in certain circumstances.
  • You are not required to pay any charge for exercising your rights. If you make a request, we have one month to respond to you. Please contact us if you wish to make a request.
