_D4A3205-3583511480-OOur challenge was to encourage 5000 employees across an insurance intermediary to get involved in the 2nd annual Excellence Awards through peer-to-peer nominations to recognise colleagues who had gone the extra mile for customers.

The success of the nomination process was down to everyone – not just leaders. Timescales were extremely tight to shape and deliver a multi-media campaign.


We developed a digital, mobile, social and print campaign including:

  • Mobile optimised voting to submit nominations wherever, whenever
  • Printed collateral, people stories showcasing previous winners
  • Digital ‘rosettes’ for people to give ‘virtual hi-fives’ on the intranet
  • Awards champions who helped to drive participation locally
  • A dedicated intranet site – the ‘online companion’ for backstage news and gossip


The results were outstanding – with double the number of nominations from the previous year for individual and team awards, which were all high quality submissions.
